George - Team Support and Sign Maker ExtraordinaireAnd then there is “George” aka Lesley's dad Allen, the back bone of CL and her most enthusiastic and longest supporter. Coach Lesley came to entrepreneurship and owning a small business following in his footsteps (although if you would have asked her she never would have imagined it). Her dad taught her what a strong work ethic really is and that “quit” is not even a word in the English language. When she was growing up, he demonstrated what owning a successful business was all about. These businesses included a very successful construction company that specialized in rapid transit and cement bridge building and a food concession at the Seattle Center house. Lesley's dad taught her to go after her dreams and goals and give it everything she has. This can be seen in both her athletics and what she gives to her clients daily. Being kind, honest and compassionate were also important things that George made sure that Coach learned. Things many business owners sometimes forget. Coach Lesley’s dad Allen can be seen crewing group rides, watching athletes’ gear at group events, putting out CL signs. He usually will have some peanut M&Ms, a smile and an encouraging word of support to share.

Georgia - Mascot, Banana Thief
Georgia, aka Monkey, is Lesley's beloved chocolate lab. She has big floppy ears that blow back in the wind and a face that wins everyone over and can often be found accompanying mom at group runs and team events. She is bred to run and prefers trails. She will do almost anything for a post workout banana (good post-run fueling!) and has even gone so far as to on occasion take one out of an unsuspecting client's bag. She is a strong believer in cross training (chasing a tennis ball endlessly and swimming) and could teach us all something about recovery naps.
